What is a CMS?
A CMS is technical speak for a content management system. Put plain and simply it allows you to update and add new content to a website. It is an invaluable tool for any business who values their online presence. In fact Circus Creative rarely makes a website without one. Perhaps with the exception of Microsites!
What is Circus CMS
Circus CMS is our system developed in-house, and applied to the websites we develop. Occasionally clients may insist on other systems such as Umbraco, Drupal or Jooma, but our system is just as powerful and avoids the uneccessary templating of sites that larger solutions need. This means our CMS does not get it the way of the design, allowing virtually any layout or structure. Plus it is based on Open source standards and methodologies and so is rock solid. As it is made in-house it means that we can tailor make it to meet your needs. It includes many necessary tools such as content modification, proof reading and publishing and combines many marketing tools needed for today such as HTML marketing.
What does it cost?
Interesting question.....well it is included in the development cost of your Circus Creation. We don't license the site like many companies do. We don't resell it, we don't offer it as an out-of-the-box solution so you won't find other companies offering the same. We don't license it so you won't get stung with bills for future use. Essentially it has no commercial use whatsover, but we like it. It makes our clients' lives easier and that is worth it in our books.
